Billing & Subscriptions
Holostaff bills on engagement. Scanning your product, exploring the map, hiring copilots, and rehearsing them is free. You pay when your deployed copilots actually engage users.
Manage everything under Settings → Billing & Subscription.
The model
- Free to start. Work email, no credit card. Scan, map, hire, and evaluate without a plan.
- Pay on engagement. Once copilots are live, usage is metered on real engagement: interventions your users actually interact with, and the sessions where a copilot talked or acted with a user. If your copilots don't engage anyone, you don't pay.
- Your users are not seats. You are never billed for traffic that didn't engage.

What you see in Billing
- Current plan — your plan, status, and billing cycle
- Usage this period — the engagement meters and where you stand
- Payment methods — cards on file, managed through the secure Stripe portal (Holostaff never stores card numbers)
- Billing history — past invoices with date, amount, and status, each downloadable as PDF
Changing or cancelling
Upgrades apply immediately and prorate to your current cycle. Cancellation takes effect at the period end. A cancelled account keeps its workspace, maps, copilots, and history; only live engagement stops being served.
