Billing
You pay for two things. Simulation runs while you build and certify. Completed handovers when an autopilot finishes a task for a real user. Nothing else is metered.
Manage everything under Settings → Billing & Subscription.
The two meters
- Simulation runs. Each synthetic-user run counts one unit. Runs in Holostaff's cloud count as 3. Runs from your own CI count as 1.
- Completed handovers. A handover bills only when the autopilot actually completed the task and the completion was verified. A handover that stops, fails, or gets handed back costs nothing.
Creation is never metered: autopilots, synthetic users, and clips are unlimited.

Overage is per unit beyond the included allowance, at the rates on the pricing page. Enterprise plans are quoted: hello@holostaff.ai.
Trials
Going live starts a 14-day trial. Card required; usage during the trial is free.
Alerts and caps
You get an alert at 80% and 100% of each allowance, and at every further 50%. Handovers also carry a monthly cap: when it is reached, autopilots stop making new offers (a handover in flight finishes) until the period resets or you raise the cap. You are never surprised by a bill you did not see coming.
What you see in Billing
- Current plan — plan, status, billing cycle
- Usage this period — both meters and where you stand
- Payment methods — managed through the secure Stripe portal; Holostaff never stores card numbers
- Billing history — past invoices, downloadable as PDF
Changing or cancelling
Upgrades apply immediately and prorate. Cancellation takes effect at period end. A cancelled account keeps its workspace, maps, autopilots, and history; offers simply stop being served.
